Both our son and daughter are getting married this year. Fortunately they are being creative in their plans, and attempting to arrange special days, without spending a fortune.
Our daughter is a graphic artist, and our future daughter-in-law is also artistic. Both designed and printed their wedding invitations, and in doing so, saved a considerable amount of money.
With computers and inkjet printers, it is fairly easy to design your own “save the date” cards or invitation. Yet, I imagine it is not something that thrills the industry whose prime income is derived from printing wedding invitations.
